If this is the case, then this decision does not make sense. My guess is - we are being matched with players playing on PC with KBM in the common pool while we play on a Controller on Stadia. I thought my gameplay is bad but playing with KBM proved otherwise. I also found that other players from the common pool have undue advantage and better response time. I found this out by listening to the team audio. When I played with my Stadia Controller, most of the other players I matched with were neither on Stadia, nor on other controller-based platforms. I guess that a smaller pool made it less competitive.Ģ. But sadly, the player pool was too small, and it took forever to get a sqad match and start a game. When I played with KBM, I found that my gameplay was better and improved over time. Anyways, people in this forum agree that it is a more natural UX to play FPS with KBM than a Controller.ġ. I have two observations that speak to why KBM should be allowed and mixed with the common pool as well.
As a result, I have been playing other games on Stadia more often now. I have been playing PUBG on both KBM and controller up until this decision forced me to be stuck with a Controller. If you won't matchmaking between both can be done, why are you not making computer vs computer and tv vs tv ?
I was giving trust and talking around me about stadia and reassure people they don't have to purchased games and google will not stopping a game when they want. I am loosing trust in cloud gaming right now. I dislike the fact that stadia is taking a decision of stopping user experience that where started and appreciated. Stadia answer my need by giving the both experience, keyboard on fps and controler on tv. I understand that people wich are playing on controler doesn't like to play on fps with people on mouse and keyboard because they are faster to target and shoot but that is exactly why i love playing on computer and not on the TV for FPS.
I like to play standard games like assassin creed's on controler and PubG on keyboard and mouse. I play somes games on controler but i can't even think about playing FPS on a controller.
